A Franco-German designer who grew up in Frankfurt, Sascha Nordmeyer graduated from the Ecole Supérieure d’Art et de Design (ESAD) in Rheims. Nominated ‘Espoir de la Création’ by the Colbert Committee, he joined the creative studios of a well-known French luxury business company. In 2009 he opened his own studio and won the Red Dot Design Award in Singapore. In 2011 his project Communication Prosthesis was exhibited at the MOMA in New York. Inspired by a journey in the tropics, he works today with paper and creates objects and installations for major brands throughout the world. He teaches Design at Sciences Po, Paris, and Esam Design.
